Lymphatic drainage after surgery is mandatory. And for this specific case, our protocol adjusts to the needs of each patient's recovery period. In the first few weeks, the focus is on eliminating all operative fluid and excess fluid also produced by the body, in addition to treating the edema produced by the surgery. In the following weeks, along with the healing of the body, fibrosis begins to appear, and this is the new focus of the massage.
In addition, massage assists in blood, venous and lymphatic circulation that is somewhat compromised by surgery, contributing to the internal healing of the body, and consequently achieving much better results from cosmetic surgery.
